Before you go out on a bike ride, make sure you have an updated ICE Card. Always carry it with you so that proper services can be provided to you fast if needed during an emergency.

DownloadLET’S DISCUSS: How often do you clean your bike helmet? How often should we be doing that?
I wash mine about every month. Dip it in a bucket of water with mild soap and scrub it, making sure I get the straps and pads, and then let it air dry. Many don’t know, but you are also able to buy pad replacements.
Also, it is recommended that you replace your bike helmet every five years and after any impacts!
OH MY GOD BECKY,
Look at her…
👉🏼Bike Lights! Make sure you have them on the front and back so that you are visible to vehicles, other cyclists, and pedestrians
👉🏼Spare Tube & Tubes- because you never know when you’ll get a flat! Always ride prepared!
👉🏼Bike Helmet and Cap- protect your head from falls and look cool with your GWC cap ;)
👉🏼Clean Chain & Derailleur- clean these AT LEAST once a month or more often if you ride a lot, and make sure they are both properly lubed, so that they operate correctly
Bike pedal pins dig gently into soft-soled shoes like sneakers (chucks, vans, etc.), which help stop your feet from slipping out when pedaling.
Here are some items you should be carrying with you on bike rides: medical kit, tire lever, extra tire tube, CO² cartridges, multi-tool set, llen wrench set. What else do you always carry with you?
